Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing permanent, safe sanctuary for abused and abandoned captive-bred wolves and wolf-dogs.

Leyton, Jill and a small group from the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary made the trip from Ramah to Long Leash On LifeŽ for an educational visit regarding Canis lupus- the wolf. Along with them came Flurry, an beautiful snow white Arctic Wolf. Visitors and spectators were thrilled to observe Flurry and contrast his similarities and differences to the domestic dog. Spectators were also treated to a continuous flow of educational information from Leyton regarding the wolf as a species, why they (and wolf hybrids) do not make appropriate pets and background on the non-profit sanctuary where they live. Best of all, if Flurry (and Leyton) allowed it, visitors could gently touch him.

We look forward to future visits from the folks and canids from the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary!
